Daisy is Florida based with over 10 years of experience as a makeup artist and hair stylist. As owner and operator of D. Ocasio MUA  located in Tampa, FL. Daisy has worked with some marquee brands and with top talents in the modeling industry.
with a unique tilt toward sustainable beauty. With faces such as Hannah Young, Angelina Jolie belle  and Sam Mathias  as her canvases , Daisy brings her high fashion, editorial , and seemingly flawless  visions to life from runway shows  to  the glossy pages of magazines. How long have you been professionally doing make up?
I've been an MUA for the past 4-5 years, I just started my own freelance company in April 2016.

Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?
 My parents are originally from Puerto Rico and I was born and raised in Jersey City, NJ, I was blessed with four amazing sisters and a brother and  I have   been married for eleven years and have three gorgeous daughters

How was home life for you growing up?
I shared EVERYTHING lol I always loved makeup and my mom is a queen diva so she would put lipstick on us and do our hair. My father worked very hard and taught me serious work ethic. My childhood was awesome!

What’s a typical day for you?
It differs from day to day but I'm on my phone a lot. I manage every part of my business so I’m  constantly busy.

Were you always supported in your endeavors?

No. I don't think people understood where I was coming from since I worked in law offices for more than 10 years so i was going in the completely different direction. They do now though.

What is the biggest challenge you faced in your career

There have been many ups and downs but I think the biggest challenge is balancing motherhood, marriage, family and business.

Being published for the first time was amazing.

Being interviewed is pretty rad lol also I just got published in GQ magazine a couple weeks ago.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

Traveling all over beautifying the world.

What's your favorite concept so far?

I love avant-garde, high fashion looks so anything out of the norm.

Hardest thing to learn?

To not compete with anyone else but myself.

Who inspires you?

Bray MUA. I took a master class from her and she is amazeballs!! Her and Vene (her wife) are genuine and so damn talented! Love them!

If you had one superpower what would it be?

I would fly and manipulate the weather like storm so I would always have awesome hair days!

What is your end goal?

At the end of all of this I want my kids to know they can be or do whatever they want! I will support them, my success is 100% for them!
Annnnnd I want to be the next Pat McGrath if she ever retires ❤️
