Aaron "Rusty" Mcneile
Rusty is a multifaceted  photographer whose work has appeared all over Florida. He's Recently pointed his talents to the business world and established himself as a fast growing entrepreneur and top photographer in the bay. Not limited to one niche market, he covers and dominates all aspects of fashion, runway, product, commercial, lifestyle and wedding photography.
Immediately upon my move to Florida I quickly came across his page of vibrantly  unique captures that are so authentic to everyday life. I knew I had to get to know him!  This is one of my favourite interviews to date,  Not only a because i'm interviewing a great friend and fellow hard working entrepreneur and hands down one of my personal favorite photographers  but because I finally found someone who happens to enjoy Joe Rogan rants as  much as I do!

When did you start photography?

2006, way back in my high school days. They had an after school Film Class. Before my dad passed away, he was big into photography. So I thought I would take it up to earn extra credits, but I immediately fell in love with the whole process.

What do you shoot with now?

My beast known as the Nikon D810

What’s better editing or shooting?

I love the process of both. I shoot to edited. Before I take a photo, I can already see how I will edit the final image.

Favorite lenses and why

The Sogma 85 1.4 or the Nikon 70-200 2.8
I love the Sigma  85mm 1.4 because it obliterates and blues the background and brings all the attention to the subject. At the same time my Nikon 70-200 2.8 is so versatile, and I love the compression from 105mm to 200mm

Are your friends and family supportive?

My mom and Aunt are very supportive! My aunt was the one that gave me my first two cameras, she is a big part of my life. She has been doing photography 10+ years herself ;she Even got to photograph the Dali lama!
My mom is always pushing me to do even better and I appreciate that.

What inspires you?

Life inspires me, I want to be the best of the best in my field. I do this all for myself, I am constantly critiquing myself and what I can do to be even better.

black&white or color?

I will always be a fan of black and white portraits.

What are your favorite concepts to shoot?

Currently I love shooting editorial fashion and portraits and weddings. It's a weird mix, but it's what Ilove.

What are your hobbies outside of photography, do you have other sources of income?

I'm always do what I can do take road trips and explore this world we live in. But even then, my camera NEVER leaves my side.

Who is your favorite photographer?
I don't just have one, my top two would have to be Dani Diamond and Annie leibovitz

In studio or on location?

I love shooting outdoors, the world is my backdrop.

I like how laid back he is and how quick he is to return photos back to the model. he is always my favorite photographer to work with and we've become great friends since working together!- Stephanie Waywood
If you could work with any celebrity who would it be?

Joe Rogan for sure. He is hilarious, and his outlook on the world we live in is eye opening.

From the photographer:

Here at McNeile Photography, I pride myself with knowing that at the end of a photography session, you will be walking away swooning over how amazing and lovely the images that we were able to capture.

I sit down with all my clients to discuss what you are looking for, and how I can help you out. We will go over a mood board based on the type of images and look that you are looking for.

At McNeile Photography, I have packages and prices that can meet everyone's budget.
After our session and I have had the necessary time to edit our photos, I will sit down with my client once again to go over all the final images. Every client will receive all their edited images in their own private online gallery that they may download, or purchase prints.
