Kamela was found via facebook! Mutual friend Janelle La Fond of JMI CLOTHING reached out for her participation. She was very generous in donating to the PULSE fashion showcase I was coordinating. Ever since the showcase we have been in constant contact. This woman is EVERYTHING

When it comes to defining who we are and what we stand for, friends, family and colleagues are a good starting point. All three present plenty of opportunities to review and refine our behaviour, hopefully with the aim of becoming the best version of ourselves.
Beyond our family and friends, we look at films, magazines, public life, and colleagues to find people on whom we can model ourselves and who can inspire us.

I got the amazing opportunity  to finally meet kamela in person.  We met at the 14 plus foundation U.S open Charity event In NYC in between running around for fashion week.  Working with Susan Gossage who  works alongside the foundation to  help raise much needed funds to build schools in Zambia.

What made you chose certain career paths?
I started modeling when I finished Business School because of my love for travel and adventure.  I knew I would always have my degree to fall back on but wanted to explore the world in my youth.  Now that my entrepreneurial spirit has kicked in, I wanted to find a career that mixes my love of fashion with the flexibility I need to continue modeling.
